Ninja tabi socks

If you have ninja boots you surely know that regular socks are not a good choice to go with them. What you need are the Ninja Socks with a split toe design that match the Ninja boots.
Although you will probably like the feeling that free toe gives you, keep in mind that it is slightly difficult to put them on quickly.
Except for that, there isn’t much philosophy about buying socks. There is just one thing I look at when buying any kind of socks - material. I prefer 100% cotton.

Like these: Tabi Socks, Black 2 Pairs

These tabi socks make a great training socks when worn with tabi boots, but they are also perfect for everyday use.
ps. You can also wear them with sandals ;)

Ninja shoes - Ninja Tabi boots

Ninja Tabi boots are the usual part of a ninja outfit. These ninja shoes are famous for their split toe design. Split toes enable a better grip of the ground. They give you a better control of your movements, provide comfort and stability. This is specially important for extreme conditions, climbing, stalking etc.

It feels natural to have our toes move freely, this improves our balance and adds comfort due to less strain and stress than with the normal footwear.
It can also help you when rope climbing and we know that ninjas use rope with grappling hook when climbing on buildings and tall objects.

If you already have a ninja uniform you should add the Ninja Tabi boots to complete your Ninja outfit.

Here are a few recommendations:

Ninja shoes

Check out the pros and cons from a review below.
Pro’s:
-Concealed pocket on the inside of each
-Fits quite nicely
-Cloth material is excellent
-Stitching is top notch
-Metal ribs are top notch

Con’s:
-Rubber used is rather weak, I would’ve suggested something a bit more sturdy
-Cloth loops to connect the metal ribs will come apart easily, you’ll most likely have to restitch.
-The glue is already starting to pull which means you’ll have to break out the hot glue gun every now and then.

Ninja uniform

Ninjas are well known for their distinguished outfit called Shinobi shozoku.
When we think of a ninja we usually imagine a warrior silently stalking his enemy, wearing black ninja uniform, ninja boots and black mask on his face.
Such notion of ninja uniform is borrowed as a idea from the puppet handlers of bunraku theater. These puppet handler wore black outfit to simulate that puppets are moving on their own.
But in reality there is no strong evidence for such a costume. Ninjas were actually commonly dressed as civilians to infiltrate themselves more easily during the day. Ninja is a master of camouflage so, while they traveled, they changed their appearance and clothing to one that suited the situation. Ninja could be a monk, a merchant, a farmer or a medicine peddler.
During the night they would wear a mask and a uniform that would blend into the night.
Ninjas preferred dark navy blue color of their uniform because the black clothing stands out in the light of the moon. Ninja uniform also had to be light, comfortable, and suitable for stalking.

Through the few past decades ninjas were a common inspiration for a lot of martial arts, kung fu and action movies. That is especially notable for the 80s and 90s when a lot of popular ninja movies were filmed. With their popularity, demand for ninja gear and ninja uniform also surged. Today there are a lot of specialised stores and online web shops where you can purchase a ninja uniform.

Whether you need one for your training or as a costume, there are many ninja uniforms available online.
Here are a few of them that we would recommend, depending on your needs and your budget.
